The 2015 Climate and Health Summit will take place alongside the UNFCCC Climate Summit, the 21st Conference of the Parties (COP21) in Paris this December.
The conference theme is Engaging with Health in a Post-2015 World, and it will bring together health professionals, policymakers, negotiators, academics and other members of the international community to find and develop answers to the overarching question, "How can public health change the conversation on climate change in a post-2015 world?"
It will discuss how best to engage the health sector, the public and other sectors including food, energy and transport in the multi-dimensional challenges of climate change and health, and create a platform for sharing ideas, research findings and success stories.
